WHY COME TO COUNSELLING?
Sometimes we feel stuck or overwhelmed and don't know how to move towards greater ease in our lives. Friends and family can be a great resource but may not have the time or skills to help. We may also fear exposing ourselves to judgement or that we might be too much to bear.
My approach is collaborative, non-judgemental and active. I will help you explore and process your experience with calm curiosity and creativity. I believe building a trusting relationship between us will create a safe ground from which to make sense of what is going on, how your are responding and experiment with different ways of being.
ABOUT ME
The strong foundation provided by my training, combined with my own interests and experience, shape the way I work. I had an expat childhood and attended a school with ever changing classmates from all over the world. This has left me with an enduring interest in peoples' lives and an independent perspective that isn't rooted in a particular place. I believe good mental health comes from finding a way to be ourselves whilst remaining connected to others.
